StoneCraft Pavers · Courtyards & terraces

Evenings
live here.

Somewhere between the last light and the first glass, a stone courtyard becomes the warmest room of the house. We build that room — in travertine, clay, and shellstone, laid by hand, made for bare feet and long tables.

The craft

Old-world patience,
new-world base work.

The romance is in the surface; the longevity is underneath it. Beneath every hand-laid herringbone field is a laser-graded, machine-compacted foundation built to modern engineering standards — so the terrace that looks a hundred years old will quietly last that long.

Stone with provenance

Travertine, clay brick, porcelain, and shellstone sourced from quarries we have visited ourselves.

Patterns laid by hand

Herringbone, running bond, fan, and basketweave — set piece by piece, cut tight at every border.

Built for bare feet

Cool-touch surfaces and honest slip ratings around pools, kitchens, and everywhere sandals get kicked off.

A 25-year promise

If our base settles, we return and make it right. The warranty follows the house, not the owner.

Postcards from the patio

We used to go out for dinner on Fridays. Now people invite themselves over. The courtyard did that.

Sofía & Marc

The Cortile, installed 2024

I asked for “Spain, but make it survive our winters.” They knew exactly what that meant — and it has.

Deborah L.

Terraza del Sol, installed 2023

The crew hand-cut the fan pattern around our old fig tree instead of asking us to remove it. Craftsmen, truly.
