The Craft
01
Silver travertine from Denizli. Granite setts from northern Portugal. Lueders limestone quarried ninety minutes up the road. Every pallet is opened and inspected by hand; roughly a quarter is sent back.
02
Laser-guided base preparation, compacted in three lifts. Drainage falls at two percent — enough to shed a Hill Country storm, never enough to feel. Edges are set true and stay true.
03
In writing, and transferable with the home. If a paver settles, heaves, or opens a joint, we return and make it right. In seventeen years we have been called back twice.

Featured Work
The brief was simple and a little sad: a family with a beautiful house who went inside at sunset, because there was nowhere else to be. The back of the property — a live oak, a slope, a view of the greenbelt — sat dark and unused.
We laid 340 square feet of silver travertine in a French pattern, honed and unfilled so it holds the last heat of the day. A gas fire ring in Lueders limestone anchors the far edge; six path lights carry you out to it. The slope became two shallow steps you barely register.
Five weeks, start to first fire. They now eat outside from March to November.

The Programme
Act I
An evening walk of your property, at the hour you would actually use it. Ninety minutes. No charge, no folder of upsells.
Act II
A scaled plan, hand-drawn first. Stone samples left with you for a week — see them wet, dry, and by candlelight. A fixed price, in writing.
Act III
A crew of four, the same four, every day. Laser grading, three-lift compaction, drainage at two percent you will never notice. The site swept by five.
Act IV
We return at dusk. We set the lighting levels, light the first fire, and hand you a 25-year warranty across the table you now own.
We used to say goodnight at eight. Now the neighbors won’t leave. The crew was gone by five each day, the site swept clean, and when the first cold front came through in October we lit the fire and understood exactly what we had paid for.
